French Translation & Localization Expert

About the Role

We&aposre looking for an experienced, bilingual writer and translator to join our team. Our work spans UI/UX, naming, marketing, branding, user manuals, and of course UX writing and translation.

You will be responsible for working with other linguists, as well as the development and design team to find the best writing, translation, and localization solutions for a variety of consumer products.

Ideal candidates will have outstanding written verbal and written communication skills, total fluency in English, be culturally fluent, and be driven to work towards a common goal.

Key Responsibilities:

Translate content from English into your target language with accuracy and cultural relevance.

Conduct linguistic testing to ensure translation quality and consistency.

Adapt and localize content to align with cultural contexts and market trends.

Collaborate and communicate effectively with teams of diverse professional backgrounds.

Stay updated with the latest market trends and cultural shifts to ensure content relevance and engagement.

Basic Qualifications:

Full Fluency in one of the specified languages below.

Advanced proficiency in English.

Intuitive understanding of how to present and structure information effectively.

Degree in Translation, Language Studies, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.

Proven experience in translation, writing, editing, localization, or communications.

Candidates with experience in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) products will be given preference.

Proficiency in Chinese is an added advantage.

Curious and eager to learn new things quickly.

Detail-oriented with an ability to empathize with user perspectives.

Flexible problem-solving skills.

Capable of multitasking and working efficiently under pressure.
