Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm

French Language Teacher (International School)

. Develop and implement effective French language curriculum and lesson plans aligned with the Cambridge International Framework and School curriculum.

. Deliver engaging and interactive French lessons to students of varying ages and proficiency levels.

. Develop students language proficiency across listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

. Promote cultural awareness by integrating French history, customs, and traditions into learning.

. Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.

. Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.

. Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and school leaders on student development.

. Participate actively in extracurricular and cultural activities related to the French language.

. Stay updated on new teaching methodologies and educational technologies.

. Uphold School values and safeguarding responsibilities.

Requirements

. Bachelor's degree in Education, French, or a related field, with a recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, PGDE, PGCEi, NIE Diploma, or equivalent).

. At least 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international school setting.

. Proficiency in French (native or near-native level) and excellent command of English.

. Strong understanding of the Cambridge curriculum for primary and/or secondary programmes.

. Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs, including EAL learners.

. Demonstrated classroom management, instructional planning, and communication skills.

. Ability to contribute to school life beyond the classroom, including trips, clubs, and cultural events.
