Key Responsibilities:
Supervise end-to-end freight forwarding processes, including import, export, and transshipment.
Monitor shipment tracking, ensuring timely deliveries and resolving any issues that arise.
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
Supervise and mentor a team of Customer Focus Executives and Operations Executives, providing guidance and performance management.
Foster collaboration between internal departments, including sales, finance, and warehousing.
To review operational efficiency and address challenges.
Serve as the primary contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving service issues.
Build and maintain relationships with carriers, shipping lines, and logistics partners.
Negotiate freight rates and service agreements with vendors to ensure cost efficiency.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of shipping documentation, including invoices, AWB, BL, and customs declarations.
Keep updated with regulatory changes affecting freight forwarding and implement necessary adjustments.
To ensure adherence to industry standards and company policies.
Analyze operational workflows and propose improvements for efficiency and cost savings.
To monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive process enhancements.
Implement best practices for warehouse coordination, route planning, and shipment consolidation.
