Freight Operations Executive

• Position: Freight Operations Executive

• Location: Marine Parade / Parkway Parade

• Working hours: Monday to Friday (office hours)

• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $4,400 Monthly Basic Salary + 13th Month AWS + Performance Bonus

• Duration: Permanent

• Industry: Freight Forwarding / Logistics

Main Responsibilities:

• Coordinate import and export shipments to ensure timely and accurate shipment arrangements.

• Prepare, process and maintain relevant shipping and freight documentation.

• Liaise with customers, carriers, freight partners and internal teams on shipment arrangements and operational matters.

• Monitor shipment progress and follow up on outstanding documentation or operational issues.

• Perform data entry and maintain accurate shipment records in the relevant systems.

• Handle filing, scanning and general document management.

• Support the team with daily freight-forwarding and administrative activities.

• Perform other related operational duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum GCE N-Level or equivalent qualification.

• Prior experience in freight forwarding, shipping or logistics would be advantageous but is not required.

• Candidates without prior freight-forwarding experience may be considered, with training provided.

• Comfortable handling shipping documentation, data entry and administrative duties.

• Organised and detail-oriented, with strong accuracy in document handling.

• Able to manage multiple tasks and follow up on operational matters promptly.

• Responsible, willing to learn and able to work effectively independently and as part of a team.

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
