The organization offers integrated freight forwarding, supplychain management, and specialized logistics services to MNC clients across multiple industries.
As part of its regional growth strategy in Southeast Asia, our client is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and strengthen its Singapore operations while supporting regional business expansion.
The Singapore office operates with a lean and agile structure, therefore the successful candidate will play a dual role in both leading the operations function and actively managing day-to-day freight activities.

- Salary package up to S$12,000 (subject to candidate's overall relevant experience)
Key Scope:
- Incumbent reports to Managing Director to lead and manage the local operations team (1 to 2 team members) ensuring operational excellence and service delivery.
- Manage end-to-end freight operations covering sea freight and air freight (import, export and cross-trade shipments).
- Liaise directly with clients, shippers and international partners throughout the shipment lifecycle.
- Handle documentation and operational coordination for import/export bookings.
- Ensure operational processes and compliance are followed across shipments.
- Maintain strong relationships with shipping lines, airlines, trucking partners and service providers.
- Negotiate competitive freight rates and maintain cost efficiency.
- Develop and expand the business by supporting client acquisition and servicing existing customers.
- Collaborate with regional offices and partners to support Southeast Asia logistics activities.
- Oversee CargoWise file creation, system updates and operational tracking.
Key Requirements:
- At least 10 to 15 years of experience in logistics or freight forwarding operations.
- Strong knowledge of import/export operations, customs procedures, warehousing and general logistics.
- Hands-on experience in sea freight and air freight operations are essential.
- Proven ability to build client relationships and develop new business opportunities.
- Established network with shipping lines, airlines and logistics partners.
- Leadership experience managing operations teams.
- Strong problem-solving ability and ability to work under pressure.
- Experience using CargoWise will be a strong advantage.
