Job Summary
Join our Air & Ocean Freight Operations team as a Management Trainee to gain hands-on experience in freight forwarding operations, develop shipment coordination and customer service skills, and prepare for a future leadership role in logistics.
Responsibilities
- Gain practical experience managing end-to-end air and sea freight operations to support shipment flow
- Process and coordinate drop, import, and export shipments to ensure smooth logistics
- Communicate effectively with customers, overseas agents, carriers, airlines, NVOCCs, and co-loaders to coordinate shipments
- Arrange shipment bookings, customs clearance, and delivery schedules to meet timelines
- Monitor shipment status and provide timely updates to customers for transparency
- Liaise with transportation and local handling service providers to facilitate shipment movement
- Process import/export permits and customs documentation accurately to comply with regulations
- Manage shipments using EDI systems to maintain operational efficiency
- Prepare shipment documentation, operational reports, and invoices to support business processes
- Support customers with ad hoc requests such as goods inspection to enhance service quality
- Assist in problem resolution, service recovery, and insurance claims handling to maintain customer satisfaction
- Supervise and support the Customer Service Operations team to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements
- Diploma / O level
- Experience working in a freight forwarding environment to perform core operational tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office to prepare reports and documentation
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn to adapt and grow in the role

Salary: $3000 - $4000 (AWS & VB)
