Freelancer Art Teacher

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and deliver engaging art lessons and workshops tailored to students skill levels and interests.
2. Provide instruction in various artistic mediums including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art.
3. Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore their creativity.
4. Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve their artistic skills and techniques.
5. Collaborate with students to set learning goals and track progress over time.
6. Maintain a safe and organized studio space conducive to artistic exploration and expression.
7. Stay updated on current trends and techniques in the art world to enhance teaching methods and curriculum.
8. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive learning experience for all.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as an art teacher or instructor, preferably in a freelance capacity.
2. Proficiency in a variety of artistic mediums and techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with students of all ages and backgrounds.
4. Creative and adaptable teaching style that can accommodate different learning preferences and abilities.
5. Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or related field preferred.
6. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet scheduling needs.
7. Passion for art education and a genuine desire to inspire and empower students through creative expression.
8. Familiarity with art curriculum development and lesson planning strategies is a plus.
9. Willingness to undergo a background check, if required by the employer or educational institution.
