Freelance Web Developer (E-commerce & Booking System)

We are a well-established hair salon business with 40 years of experience, looking for a skilled Freelance Web Developer to build and configure a comprehensive e-commerce and appointment booking website. The goal is to create a seamless digital experience for our clients that integrates bookings, memberships, and automated customer support.

Project Scope & Key Responsibilities

• Appointment Booking System: Implement and configure a robust booking platform (Amelia Pro) to manage stylist schedules, services, and real-time availability across multiple locations.

• E-Commerce & Subscriptions: Set up a WooCommerce-based store capable of handling one-time product sales and recurring subscription payments for hair care packages.

• Membership & Tiering Logic: Configure a Membership Suite to establish rules for different membership tiers based on customer spending. This must be linked to the booking platform to allow for tier-specific pricing or priority access.

• Payment Integration: Ensure secure integration of various payment methods (Credit Cards, PayNow, etc.) for both service bookings and retail purchases.

• AI Chatbot Integration: Develop and integrate an advanced AI Chatbot capable of handling appointment bookings and processing payments directly within the chat interface.

• UI/UX Design: Ensure the site is mobile-responsive, aesthetically pleasing, and reflects our premium salon branding.

Technical Requirements

• Platform Expertise: Extensive experience with WordPress and WooCommerce is essential.

• Plugin Configuration: Proven track record of configuring complex plugins such as Amelia Pro, WooCommerce Subscriptions, and Membership Suites.

• Integration Skills: Experience with API integrations for payment gateways and AI-driven chatbot platforms.

• Security: Strong understanding of web security best practices and data protection for customer information.

• Communication: Ability to provide regular progress updates and offer technical recommendations to optimize the user journey.
