Freelance Video Editor

A video editor is required to create 1530 second reels for a music brand, with a visual style rooted in 90s and Y2K aesthetics. The role involves producing creative, intentional edits that align with the brands music and identity, incorporating VFX, dialogue sections, and AI effects where appropriate. Reference materials, including style examples and music links, will be provided to guide the editing direction. The reels should be high quality, engaging, and cohesive with the overall brand image. This is a remote, project-based role with the potential for ongoing collaboration.

Requirements

• Proven experience in video editing for short-form content, ideally in the music or entertainment sector
• Strong ability to work with aesthetic references such as 90s and Y2K styles
• Proficiency in editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
• Ability to incorporate VFX, dialogue segments, and AI effects in a seamless and purposeful way
