Key Responsibilities

Language Conversion: Interpreters are to translate spoken Thai into English and vice versa, ensuring accurate and timely communication

Modes of Interpretation: They may perform consecutive interpretation, where they translate after the speaker pauses, or simultaneous interpretation, which requires real-time translation

Work Settings

• On-site: Providing in-person interpretation for meetings, conferences, or training sessions
• Remote: Offering interpretation services via video or telephone calls
• Diverse Industries: They may work in healthcare, legal, business, or educational settings, adapting their skills to different contexts

Skills and Qualifications

Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Thai and English is essential, including reading, speaking, and writing

Cultural Knowledge: A deep understanding of both Thai and English-speaking cultures is crucial for accurate interpretation
