SPEECH & DRAMA / PUBLIC SPEAKING TRAINER

Freelance | Flexible Hours | Multiple Locations

Who We Welcome

We welcome trainers from diverse backgrounds - you don't need prior teaching experience.

You'll fit this role if you:

  • Are a clear, confident English speaker
  • Enjoy drama, performing, or working with children/teens
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Are reliable, responsible, and enjoy guiding young learners
  • Have a minimum Diploma (any field) OR have prior experience in Drama
  • Are passionate about helping students express themselves confidently on stage and in life

Training and support are provided.

Your Role

As a Speech & Drama / Public Speaking Trainer, you will:

  • Conduct lively, engaging classes using our ready-made curriculum
  • Teach drama, storytelling, speech structure, and performance skills
  • Coach students in:
    - vocal clarity & projection
    - confidence & stage presence
    - body language & eye contact
    - articulation & pronunciation
  • Guide students through mini-performances, sharings, or short speeches
  • Create a fun, safe learning environment where students feel confident to express themselves

This is a fulfilling role where you'll witness real growth in your students - from quiet to expressive, from hesitant to courageous.

Job Details

OPTION 1: FREELANCE / PART-TIME TRAINER (HOURLY)

Remuneration (Freelance):

  • $40 - $65 per hour
    (rate depends on qualifications and experience)

Schedule (Freelance):

  • Weekday mornings and/or afternoons
  • You choose class slots based on your availability

OPTION 2: SHORT-TERM CONTRACT TRAINER (FULL TERM)

Contract Period:

  • 4 months: January - April

Remuneration (Contract):

  • $2,600 - $3,000 per month
    (fixed monthly pay for the 4-month period)

Schedule (Contract):

  • 5 days a week
  • Weekday mornings and fternoons
  • More regular weekly schedule compared to freelance
