The role is fully remote and requires a commitment of 45 hours daily, ideally between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM US Eastern Time. The primary focus will be backend API development, implementing new features, resolving bugs, and integrating frontend components. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, communicates effectively, and is eager to deliver high-quality solutions in a collaborative environment.
Deliverables
- Develop and maintain backend APIs using Node.js (Express or NestJS)
- Implement new features and enhancements based on project requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs in existing codebase
- Integrate frontend components, collaborating with other developers as needed
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and documentation
- Participate in regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback
Requirements
- Proficiency in Node.js with experience in Express or NestJS frameworks
- Solid understanding of REST API design and implementation
- Familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript
- Basic frontend skills, preferably with React
- Experience with MongoDB or PostgreSQL databases
- Competence with Git for version control
