Steady Stead Pte Ltd is looking for experienced Freelance Lifting Crew to support lifting operations involving lorry cranes and mobile cranes across Singapore.

We work with crane companies, contractors, and project teams to provide lifting planning, engineering support, and competent lifting crew deployment for lifting operations.

Suitable candidates may be deployed as Rigger, Signalman, or Lifting Supervisor depending on certification and experience.

Job Scope

Rigger / Signalman

• Perform rigging and signaling duties during lifting operations

• Select appropriate lifting gear (chain sling, webbing sling, shackles, etc.)

• Secure loads and ensure proper load balance before lifting

• Communicate with crane operator using standard hand signals or radio

• Conduct pre-use inspection of lifting gears

• Monitor lifting operation for safety and stability

Lifting Supervisor

• Supervise lifting operations on site

• Conduct pre-lift briefing and safety checks

• Ensure lifting operation follows approved lifting plan / method statement

• Coordinate with crane operator, riggers, signalmen and site team

• Ensure compliance with WSH lifting regulations

Requirements

• Singaporean / PR only

• WSQ Perform Rigger & Signalman Task or

• WSQ Supervise Safe Lifting Operations

• Prior experience in lifting operations preferred

• Able to work at various project sites in Singapore

• Physically fit and able to work outdoors
