Freelance Interpreter (Asean & Hong Kong)

We are currently looking for freelance interpreters who are based in Southeast Asia and Hong Kong.

Role Description

• This is freelance on-site project for an Consecutive or Simultaneous Interpreter based in Singapore, Malaysia or Hong Kong.
• The Interpreter will be responsible for providing consecutive or simultaneous interpretation services during meetings, conferences, and other events.
• The candidate will need to accurately convey spoken communication from their proficiency language (E.g.., Burmese/Bengali/Chinese/Japanese/Korean/varied language) to English and vice versa.

Qualifications

• Fluency in at least two languages (mother tongue and English or another foreign language)
• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as an interpreter
• Experience in international conferences and/or bilateral high-level meetings is an advantage
• Relevant language proficiency certificate(s) or other supporting documentation required
• Strong understanding of cultural nuances and sensitivity
• Excellent listening, concentration, and memory skills
