BYKURAHOME is a Singapore homeware brand built on a simple idea: beautifully designed everyday products that replace disposables. Our range spans kitchen storage, food prep, reusable essentials, and tableware, all designed in Singapore with a focus on sustainable materials, considered aesthetics, and genuine daily utility.
We're entering a new phase as a design-led brand and need someone who can bring that vision to life across our social channels every day.
The Role
We're looking for a freelance content creator to own the day-to-day content output for our brand Instagram and TikTok accounts. This is not a social media manager role - we need someone who can pick up a phone, style a shot, and deliver a finished reel or post that feels like it belongs in a design-forward homeware brand.
You'll be responsible for the visual storytelling between our tentpole creator campaigns: the consistent, on-brand content that builds our world and keeps the feed alive.
What You'll Do
- Produce 15–20 original content pieces per month (reels, carousels, static posts) for Instagram and TikTok
- Create daily Instagram Stories from shoot material and everyday brand moments
- Conceptualise, style, shoot, and edit all content independently
- Style products in real home/kitchen environments, making everyday objects look considered and intentional
- Work within our content pillars and visual direction, adapting trending formats to fit the brand
- Maintain a consistent posting cadence (4–5 posts per week across both platforms)
- Write captions that match our brand voice
- Batch-shoot content over 3–4 focused shoot days per month, then edit and schedule across the following weeks
What We're Looking For
Must-haves:
- A strong visual eye: you understand composition, natural lighting, colour tone, and how to make a kitchen countertop look editorial without a studio setup
- Proficiency in short-form video editing (CapCut, Premiere Pro, or equivalent): you can cut to rhythm, add text overlays, and work with trending audio
- The ability to style products in context: not on white backgrounds, but in real spaces that feel lived-in and intentional
- Platform fluency across Instagram and TikTok: you know what performs, you follow trends, and you can adapt them to a brand context
- Self-direction: you can take a brief and a visual reference board, then run with it without needing approval on every post
- Reliability and consistency: you deliver on time, every time. Posting cadence matters more than occasional brilliance
Nice-to-haves:
- Portfolio or personal account showing home, kitchen, lifestyle, or product content (this is worth more than a CV)
- Experience producing content for a brand account, not just a personal one
- Interest in sustainability, home organisation, or kitchen culture
- Based in Singapore with access to a home environment for shooting (natural kitchen/living space)
