We are seeking a freelance/contract Dietitian to support our company in developing nutritionally balanced menus for healthcare-related tenders, including eldercare, nursing homes, hospitals, and other institutional catering environments.
The Dietitian will work closely with our culinary and sales teams to ensure menus meet nutritional guidelines, operational feasibility, and tender requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review menus for healthcare sector tenders, including but not limited to nursing homes and hospitals
- Ensure menus comply with MOH/ HPB guidelines or clients requirements
- Provide nutritional analysis and documentation for tender submissions
- Advise on therapeutic and texture-modified diets
- Work with chefs and operations teams to ensure practical execution of menus
- Recommend healthier ingredient substitutions and portion standards
- Support recipe standardization and menu costing considerations
- Review and improve existing menu libraries where required
- Attend discussions or presentations with internal stakeholders when needed
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field
- Accredited Dietitian preferred (Singapore Nutrition and Dietetics Association (SNDA) accreditation is advantageous)
- Experience in healthcare, institutional catering, or senior nutrition preferred
- Familiar with Singapore healthcare nutrition guidelines and tender requirements
- Experience with therapeutic diets and elderly nutrition
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
