The Role
We're looking for a creative, hands-on Content Creator who can take ownership of social media content from concept to completion. You have a sharp eye for what performs across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Xiaohongshu, the technical skills to shoot both lo-fi and cinematic footage, and the editing chops to shape raw material into polished, high-performing content quickly, without compromising on quality or storytelling.
What you'll be doing
Content Planning & Strategy
- Plan, shoot, and produce short-form social content for TikTok, Xiaohongshu, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms
- Brainstorm fresh content ideas based on trends, formats, and audience behavior
- Research and monitor competitor content, emerging trends, and platform algorithm changes to inform content direction
- Develop content calendars and production schedules to ensure consistent output across platforms
Production & Execution
- Execute lo-fi shoots independently, under supervision, or with a small team
- Capture both raw, authentic footage and polished cinematic footage depending on content needs
- Manage end-to-end production workflow including pre-production planning, on-set execution, and post-production delivery
- Operate and maintain camera equipment, lighting, and audio gear suited for both studio and on-location shoots
Creative & Storytelling
- Turn concepts into polished, high-performing content with strong storytelling
- Script, storyboard, and structure content narratives that hook audiences within the first few seconds
- Adapt brand messaging and tone of voice across different platforms and audience segments
- Collaborate with creative leads, marketing teams, and talent to bring ideas to life
Editing & Post-Production
- Edit short-form videos with a strong sense of pacing, music selection, subtitles, and visual effects
- Optimise content formats, aspect ratios, and thumbnails for each specific platform
- Incorporate motion graphics, text overlays, and sound design to enhance viewer engagement
What we're looking for
Creative & Strategy
- Strong understanding of trending social content and editing styles across platforms
- Able to brainstorm ideas, spot opportunities, and adapt concepts quickly based on trends and audience behaviour
- Good instinct for pacing, hooks, and holding audience attention throughout a video
Content Production
- Strong editing skills with proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and CapCut
- Comfortable operating professional cameras and filming equipment
- Able to capture both raw, authentic footage and polished cinematic footage depending on content needs
- Experienced with gimbals, stabilisers, and other movement tools to achieve smooth, dynamic shots
- Able to set up and adjust lighting for a variety of shoot environments and content styles
- Strong understanding of composition, framing, camera movement, and visual storytelling
- Capable of handling baseline Director of Photography responsibilities on set
How You'll Collaborate
- Work closely with the Content Director to turn concepts into high-performing content, from ideation through to final delivery
- Collaborate with the social content team to brainstorm relevant, trend-driven ideas across platforms
- Partner with the Content Director to build efficient production workflows that maintain speed and consistent quality
- Work with talent and influencers during shoots to draw out the best on-camera performance
- Help coordinate shoot schedules, equipment readiness, and production logistics
- Communicate proactively on timelines, blockers, and deliverables
- Receive and action feedback efficiently, iterating on edits and content with a positive, solutions-oriented attitude
- Contribute ideas to improve creative processes, production systems, and overall team output
Good to Have
- General graphic design skills for static posts, carousels, and marketing assets
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
