Job Description

The Franchise Development Manager is responsible for driving franchise expansion by identifying, recruiting, and securing qualified franchise partners. This role focuses on franchise sales, business development, market expansion, partner relationship management, and ensuring the successful onboarding of new franchisees to support the company's growth objectives.

Responsibilities:

Franchise Recruitment & Business Development

  • Lead franchise sales and expansion initiatives to achieve company growth targets.

  • Identify, develop, and manage potential franchise opportunities and leads.

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective franchisees.

  • Develop and implement franchise recruitment strategies and action plans.

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual franchise development targets.

Franchise Sales & Partner Acquisition

  • Present franchise opportunities, business models, and investment requirements to prospective franchisees.

  • Conduct franchise discovery meetings, presentations, and business consultations.

  • Evaluate franchise applicants qualifications, financial capabilities, and business suitability.

  • Negotiate franchise agreements and commercial terms with prospective partners.

  • Convert qualified leads into signed franchise agreements.

Market Research & Expansion Planning

  • Conduct market analysis to identify potential territories and expansion opportunities.

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and franchise market developments.

  • Recommend strategic locations and market-entry plans for franchise growth.

  • Support the development of franchise expansion strategies.

Franchise Onboarding & Opening Support

  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new franchisees.

  • Work closely with Operations, Training, Marketing, and Finance teams to ensure successful franchise launches.

  • Monitor franchise opening timelines and project milestones.

  • Ensure all pre-opening requirements are completed according to company standards.

Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and newly signed franchisees.

  • Act as the primary contact during the franchise recruitment and onboarding stages.

  • Address franchisee inquiries and provide timely support throughout the development process.

  • Foster long-term partnerships and positive franchisee experiences.

Marketing & Promotional Activities

  • Participate in franchise exhibitions, trade shows, roadshows, and networking events.

  • Organize franchise information sessions and investment seminars.

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team on franchise recruitment campaigns.

  • Enhance brand awareness and franchise attractiveness in target markets.

Reporting & Performance Monitoring

  • Maintain accurate records of franchise leads, prospects, and sales activities.

  • Prepare regular franchise development reports and forecasts.

  • Track recruitment performance and conversion rates.

  • Analyze recruitment effectiveness and recommend improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in franchise development, business development, sales, or partnership management.

  • Strong knowledge of franchise business models and expansion strategies.

  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Strong communication and relationship management abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.

  • Willingness to travel for meetings, site visits, and franchise events.
