Job Position: Fragrance Marketing & Development Specialist
You will be a pivotal member in the fragrance development team. This role is responsible for driving the creation and promotion of fragrances that resonate with consumers and align with the brand's objectives. You will play a crucial role in a multifaceted position that demands a combination of creativity, analytical thinking and leadership skills. Collaboration, market research, proactive initiatives are key components of this role.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify consumer trends, market analysis and competitors within the fragrance industry. Stay informed about emerging fragrance trends and technologies
- Product Development: Work closely with fragrance creation teams to develop and refine scent profiles that align with market demands, developing category plans, in partnership with internal customers/stakeholders so as to ensure that fragrance strategies align with overall business objectives
- Campaign Planning: Conceptualize and oversee the execution of marketing campaigns for various fragrance products
- Content Creation: Create compelling marketing materials, including product descriptions, social media content, and support the activities of sales agent
- Fragrance Development Oversight: Win business by managing fragrance development projects, both proactively and reactively. Ensure that scent profiles meet market expectations and brand requirements. Collaborate with perfumers and scent designers to achieve desired outcomes
- Recommendation: Provide recommendations adapted to brief parameters
- Proactive Initiatives: Take the leads on proactive initiatives within fragrance development to drive innocation and market competitiveness
- International Projects: Lead international key projects and proactively drive initiatives to expand the fragrance market presence beyond ASEAN countries.
Required Skills:
- Min Diploma in Chemistry/Business Management/Marketing skills relative to fragrance
- Good understanding of fragrance for Asian Markets and worldwide trends
- Strong understanding of consumer behaviour, market dynamics, and fragrance industry trends
- Possess excellent management and administrative abilities with proficient skills in executing fragrance evaluation processes
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media
- Have a creative personality and should be able to develop new and unique fragrances using his expertise and knowledge in this field
- Possess great skills to exhibit proficient communication skills
- Be a self-starter and independent worker with an ability to work under pressure
Working hours: Monday to Friday 9:30am - 6:30pm
Lotation: JTC Space @ Tampines North
Pay range: SGD2,500. - SGD3,800.
