Job Summary
Lead the full financial planning lifecycle including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term projections. Deliver management reporting and analysis to guide senior leadership. Partner with internal teams on strategic finance initiatives and drive process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and strategic long-term financial projections to support business planning
- Build and maintain sophisticated financial models to project financial statements and key performance metrics
- Perform detailed scenario analyses to evaluate impacts of various business drivers on financial outcomes
- Deliver high-level management reporting and variance analysis to provide actionable insights on operating performance, cost efficiencies, and cash flow sustainability
- Act as a strategic finance partner by providing analytical support for network expansion, technology investments, and regulatory compliance
- Drive continuous process improvements by automating reporting tools and enhancing internal controls
- Support treasury functions including cash flow optimization and debt management
- Communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively to senior stakeholders and governance committees
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum five years of professional experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or finance business partnering, preferably in capital-intensive or regulated industries
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
- Advanced proficiency in complex spreadsheet modeling to analyze and project financial data
- Strong analytical skills to translate complex data sets into strategic business insights
- Effective communication skills for engaging senior leadership and presenting financial information
- Deep understanding of long-term asset economics and regulatory or contractual frameworks
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Recognized professional accounting or financial certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is highly preferred
