FP&A Analyst (Management Reporting) - Energy Trading

This is one of the largest oil and gas companies in the world, and an exciting opportunity has arisen for an FP&A Analyst / Accountant to take on a management reporting role within the trading business unit, with responsibility for P&L reporting and performance management.

Role
Reporting to GM of Finance. Responsible for budgeting, P&L reporting, and analyzing financial and business performance to support decision-making. The role involves preparing accurate and timely reports for headquarters and senior management, conducting variance analyses, and providing insights to improve overall financial performance.

Requirements
The ideal candidate holds a degree in Accountancy or a related discipline and brings 2 - 4 years of relevant experience. Prior exposure to a commodities trading company is a plus. The role requires strong proficiency in accounting systems and Power BI, with the ability to deliver clear and effective data visualization is essential. The successful candidate must thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, demonstrating adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
