Piper is a design-forward CPG startup building the ultimate pepper ecosystem, from premium pepper grinders to specialty peppercorns.

We're hiring a Founder's Associate (Operations) to work directly with the CEO and help run the day to day operations of a small team that moves fast.

We are not building a traditional CPG company. We run Piper like a tech-enabled startup, with a heavy focus on systems and using AI to move fast.

You'll zoom between the details (supplier timelines, inventory, 3PL issues) and the big picture (what matters this week, what's blocked, what decisions we need). If you want to learn how a startup actually gets built, end to end, this role is for you.

What you'll own

CEO's right hand: strategy → execution

1. Turn priorities into a simple plan: what we're doing, by when, and who owns what
2. Keep projects moving by chasing dependencies, getting decisions made, and surfacing risks early
3. Jump on whatever is most important that week, then build a simple system so it gets faster and easier next time

Supply chain + manufacturing (hands-on)

1. Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers: timelines, open issues, quality checks, and next steps
2. Learn how production works in practice, from MOQ and lead times to revisions and QC
3. Write clear specs/asks and follow through until it's done

Operations that keep the business calm

1. Build lightweight SOPs and dashboards so ops doesn't live in someone's head
2. Help with inventory + replenishment: reconciliation, root cause analysis, and better signals over time
3. Coordinate across partners (3PL, freight, packaging, agencies/freelancers) and build a small bench we can pull in when needed
4. Build simple automations and AI assisted workflows when it helps, so we spend less time on admin and more time shipping outcomes

You'll be a fit if you...

1. You're a few years out of school with 1 to 2 solid experiences (internships, analyst roles, startups, consulting/ops, supply chain, or similar)
2. You have professional Mandarin (spoken + written) and can communicate clearly with suppliers and manufacturers
3. You're hungry, proactive, and you like attacking problems without needing perfect instructions
4. You're organized, you write clearly, and you ship real work
5. You can analyze data, form hypotheses, and run small tests

Nice to have

1. Manufacturing or supply chain experience (China or Asia sourcing a plus)
2. D2C/e-commerce ops familiarity (Shopify, 3PL workflows, returns and exceptions)

Compensation

SGD $4,500 to $6,000/month + review after 90 days (scope + compensation growth tied to outcomes).

Bonus: Performance based bonus potential tied to outcomes over time.

Equity: Stock options may be available over time for strong long term fit and ownership.
