Our Client is looking for a highly capable Forward Deployed Engineer to work at the intersection of software engineering, product development, and customer delivery.
In this role, you will partner closely with customers to understand complex business and technical challenges, design practical solutions, and deploy technology directly into their environments. You will act as a bridge between customers and internal product and engineering teams, translating real-world requirements into scalable technical solutions and product improvements.

Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with enterprise customers to understand their operational, technical, and business requirements.
- Design, build, and deploy customised solutions using the company's platform and technology.
- Integrate products with customers existing systems, APIs, databases, cloud environments, and internal tools.
- Develop production-ready applications, workflows, data pipelines, prototypes, and technical integrations.
- Own technical delivery throughout the customer lifecycle, from initial discovery and solution design through implementation and deployment.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and ensure solutions are reliable, secure, and scalable.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to communicate customer feedback and influence the product roadmap.
- Identify reusable components and patterns that can be incorporated into the core platform.
- Conduct technical workshops, solution-design sessions, and product demonstrations with customer stakeholders.
- Build trusted relationships with engineering leaders, product teams, operations teams, and senior business stakeholders.
- Support pre-sales activities where required, including technical discovery, feasibility assessments, and solution architecture.
- Manage multiple customer projects while maintaining high standards of technical execution and communication.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering experience, ideally within a product, platform, consulting, or customer-facing technical environment.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, or a similar language.
- Experience designing and building APIs, backend services, integrations, or data-intensive applications.
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies and modern software architecture.
- Experience working with databases, data pipelines, distributed systems, or enterprise technology environments.
- Ability to understand unfamiliar systems quickly and solve complex, ambiguous problems.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working directly with customers and taking ownership of end-to-end technical delivery.
- Able to balance rapid prototyping with the development of maintainable, production-quality solutions.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment with changing requirements and competing priorities.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Architect, Technical Consultant, Solutions Engineer, Product Engineer, or Software Engineer in a customer-facing role.
- Experience deploying AI, machine-learning, data, cloud, or enterprise software solutions.
- Familiarity with large language models, generative AI tools, agentic workflows, or AI application development.
- Experience working in a start-up, scale-up, technology consultancy, or enterprise software company.
- Exposure to regulated or complex industries such as financial services, telecommunications, healthcare, government, or aviation.
- Experience working with enterprise security, governance, compliance, and infrastructure requirements.
