FORKLIFT OPERATOR

Duties & Responsibilities:

. Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

. Load and unload raw materials and finished goods from lorries, ensuring proper stacking and storage procedures.

. Safely transport, stage, and organize palletized products within the warehouse.

. Safely transport materials to designated storage areas.

. Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

. Conduct regular inspections of the forklift and ensure it is clean, well-maintained, and in optimal working condition.

. Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.

. Collaborate with warehouse and worksite crew to fulfill material handling requirements and maintain a smooth workflow.

. Assist with inventory management by accurately tracking incoming and outgoing materials.

. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring aisles and pathways are clear and free of obstacles.

Requirements:

. Valid forklift operator license and proven experience in operating forklifts.

. Strong emphasis on safety, adhering to established safety protocols and promoting a safe working environment.

. Excellent understanding of forklift operations, including loading, unloading, and maneuvering in tight spaces.

. Attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials to prevent damage or loss.

. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and follow the instructions.

. Willingness to learn new skills.

. An attitude that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
