We are looking for a Material Handler / Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for material handling, inventory movement, order fulfilment, and ensuring warehouse activities are carried out safely, accurately, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Comply with all warehouse safety, quality, and operational procedures.
- Maintain good housekeeping standards by practising 5S within the warehouse.
- Perform inbound, outbound, inventory movement, and cycle count activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- Conduct visual inspections of incoming and outgoing shipments and report any discrepancies or damaged goods.
- Support the Warehouse Supervisor in achieving operational and productivity targets.
- Carry out general warehouse duties, including stocktaking, inventory control, material handling, documentation, and data entry.
- Ensure warehouse documentation is accurate and completed on time.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and reach trucks, where authorised.
- Perform daily warehouse operations such as put-away, quality checks, picking, photographing shipments, and truck loading.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate with external parties such as transport providers or suppliers when required.
- Handle goods manually, including lifting items of up to approximately 15–20 kg where required.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or material handling operations.
- Experience operating a reach truck is preferred.
- Valid Singapore Forklift Licence or Heavy Forklift Licence is an advantage. Candidates who are willing to undergo forklift training may also apply.
- Basic computer skills; experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) is preferred.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while following safety procedures.
- Physically able to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting goods when required.
