About Wildlings Forest School
Wildlings Forest School delivers high-quality Forest School and nature-based education programmes for children aged 12 months to 11 years. Our programmes support holistic development through play, exploration, and meaningful engagement with the natural environment, and are delivered across multiple outdoor locations in Singapore.
The Role
This is a full-time professional role combining programme coordination with hands-on delivery of Forest School sessions across a wide age range.
The Forest School Programme Coordinator & Outdoor Educator is responsible for delivering consistent, high-quality Forest School experiences, supporting programme growth across locations, and building strong relationships with children, families, and partners.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Delivery
Plan and deliver Forest School sessions for children aged 12 months to 11 years, especially our Forest Playgroups and Forest School Club sessions.
Adapt sessions to meet the needs of different age groups, abilities, environments, and weather conditions.
Deliver sessions confidently and independently while maintaining high standards of safety and engagement
Build positive, professional relationships with children and families, including playgroup-aged children and caregivers.
Programme Coordination & Development
Support the coordination and delivery of Forest School programmes across multiple locations.
Maintain consistency in programme quality and approach.
Contribute to the development and refinement of Forest School experiences.
Support the growth of Wildlings Forest School programmes across Singapore.
Additional Programme Responsibilities
Lead and support holiday camps during school holiday periods
Support delivery of birthday parties and special events when required
Assist with programme planning, preparation, and educator briefings as needed
Professional Practice
Uphold safeguarding, risk assessment, and health and safety standards
Communicate clearly and professionally with parents, caregivers, schools, and colleagues
Represent Wildlings Forest School positively across all programme locations
Working Pattern & Locations
Primarily weekday-based role with regular Saturday morning sessions during term time.
Willingness to work across multiple outdoor programme locations.
Comfortable working in outdoor environments year-round.
Diploma level 3 or above qualification in education, outdoor education, early childhood, or a strongly related field
Training or experience in Forest School or nature-based education
Experience working with children across a range of ages, including early years, with a strong focus on outdoor education.
Strong communication skills and a warm, friendly approach with children and families.
Able to plan, deliver, and adapt programmes independently.
Organised, reliable, and proactive in supporting programme delivery and coordination.
Willingness to work a weekend half-day shift and school holidays as required by programme schedules
Interest in contributing to the long-term development of Wildlings Forest School provision.
Passion for the mission to get more children and families active, outdoors and connecting with nature.
Forest School Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) - must be willing to obtain this qualification if yet to do so.
Experience delivering holiday camps and outdoor events.
Ability to travel independently between programme locations. Own car or transport is a big plus.
