Working as an Associate lawyer on legal documentation, communicate with clients and others involved in the case both in Japanese and English
Provide legal advice to clients who are interested in investment or doing business in Japan
Prepare and draft legal documents including Restructuring/Insolvency, Labor dispute and other necessary documents
Perform legal research
Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law
Support clients in legal matters mainly for Japanese clients with Singapore lawyers
Job Requirements
Experience in M&A and General corporate Law
Experience advising major Japanese corporations, financial institutions, and private equity clients
As we have a large Japanese clientele base, we require a lawyer who can converse fluently in Japanese and possess a JLPT N1 written ability
Qualfication as Japanese lawyer is required as the position needs to handle clients with familiarity in law and regulations especially in Japan jurisdiction
8-10 years of working experience in a top tier Japan law firm or equivalent
