Core Responsibilities
- Treatment Delivery: Apply pressure using thumbs and fingers to reflex zones on the feet (and sometimes hands or ears) to stimulate blood circulation and energy flow.
- Client Consultation: Enquire about guests medical conditions, allergies, and lifestyle before starting services to ensure safety.
- Service Explanation: Explain the principles and methods of reflexology and how specific treatments may benefit the client.
- Maintenance & Hygiene: Clean and sanitize work areas, sterilize equipment, and ensure linens are fresh between sessions.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed treatment records, patient notes, and service logs.
- Client Guidance: Advise clients on self-reflexology techniques for home practice and refer them to medical professionals if necessary.
Job Requirements & Skills
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in foot anatomy, reflex maps, and specific techniques like thumb-walking and rotation.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and apply consistent, controlled pressure during 30-60 minute sessions.
