Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Food Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our food production facility. You will be responsible for coordinating production activities, ensuring product quality and food safety standards are met, and leading a team to achieve production targets efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day production operations on the factory floor
- Ensure production targets, quality, and safety standards are consistently met
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate routine cleaning and maintenance
- Maintain proper documentation of production records, quality checks, and incident reports
- Train, guide, and motivate production staff to optimize productivity and maintain a positive working environment
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions in collaboration with management
- Enforce compliance with company policies, hygiene regulations, and health & safety standards
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Quality Control, Maintenance, Logistics) to ensure smooth workflow
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Engineering, or related field
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing or production environment
- Good knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP) and quality control processes
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Willing to work on shifts, weekends, or public holidays if required
