Roles and responsibilities:
. Lead and guide the production team and achieve the departmental and organizational goals.
. Oversee the production day to day operations.
. Accountable for the quality of the finished products.
. Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements.
. Estimate costs and prepare budgets.
. Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
. Monitor production to resolve issues
. Supervise and evaluate the performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers,etc.)
. Determine the number of necessary resources (workforce planning, raw materials, etc.)
. Ensure output meets quality standards and customers expectations
. Enforce health and safety precautions within the production and the plant
. Other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Management.
Education and Work requirements:
. Minimum a Diploma in manufacturing process, engineering, or other relevant disciplines
. Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Food Manufacturing
. Deep knowledge of production management
. Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
. Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
. Experience in reporting on key production metrics
