The Role
We are looking for a Food Photographer / Videographer who can capture food in a way that makes people stop scrolling - from appetising hero shots to engaging TikTok and Instagram Reels.
You will work closely with our creative and social media teams to bring F&B brands to life through photography and short-form video.
Key Responsibilities
Food Photography
- Plan and execute food and beverage photoshoots
- Capture appetising hero shots, menu photography and lifestyle content
- Set up lighting, composition and styling for different F&B concepts
- Perform photo selection, colour correction and basic retouching
- Prepare images for social media, websites, menus and marketing materials
Short-Form Videography
- Film TikTok, Instagram Reels and other short-form content
- Capture food preparation, behind-the-scenes and lifestyle footage
- Develop creative filming angles and transitions
- Edit short-form videos with music, captions and effects
- Keep up with current TikTok and Instagram trends
Creative Collaboration
- Work with Social Media Executives to execute content plans
- Understand creative briefs and translate them into visual content
- Contribute ideas for shoots, campaigns and social media content
- Work with designers and account managers to ensure visual consistency
Shoot Management
- Prepare and manage photography and video equipment
- Coordinate shoot requirements with clients and internal teams
- Manage and organise photo/video files
- Ensure content is delivered according to agreed timelines
Requirements
- Experience in food photography and/or videography
- Strong portfolio or showreel
- Good understanding of lighting, composition and visual storytelling
- Proficient in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop
- Experience with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or similar editing software
- Comfortable operating DSLR/mirrorless cameras and basic lighting equipment
- Good understanding of TikTok and Instagram Reels
- Able to work independently and manage multiple shoots

- Is comfortable working on-site with F&B clients
- Takes initiative and can think on their feet during shoots
- Understands that good content is not just beautiful - it needs to sell
Bonus Points
- Food styling experience
- Experience working with F&B brands
- Basic motion graphics skills
- Gimbal or drone experience
- Comfortable appearing in or directing talent for Reels
- Experience creating viral or high-performing social media content
