Roles & Responsibilities:

  • The F&B kitchen supervisor is required to manage the overall operations of the kithcen, including the development and performance management of kitchen hands. He/she must ensure the team have complete knowledge of F&B offerings and know how of the kitchen operations.
  • He/she must actively aid in the recruitment of F&B positions and ensures all mandatory trainings are conducted to achieve the desired service standards.
  • He/she will also be required to aid the Manager in operations when required.

Primary Duties:

  • Responsible for the smooth operations of the kitchen
  • Ensure food products are consistently prepared and served according to food quality standards.
  • Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition by following Standard Operations Procedures.
  • Guide and monitor staff performance standards.
  • Perform inventory checks and product ordering.
  • Coach, train, and supervise staff to operate stations.
  • Provide coordination and services for both kitchen and service.
  • Communicate daily and act as a liaison between operations staff and management.
  • Enforcement of hygiene regulations and upkeep of the restaurant's cleanliness
  • Oversee the training of personnel in cleanliness and sanitation practices
  • Responsible for employees performance and discipline
  • Ensure safety and cleanliness in the workplace
  • Lead & motivate staff

Requirements:

  • Willing to learn and positive attitude
  • Candidates with Food Hygiene Certification are needed (please include this in the resume)
  • Minimum 1 years in F&B operations. (BOTH Service and Culinary)
  • Willing to work during evening shifts, weekends and public holidays
  • Passion for people & food.
  • Enjoy challenges and able to cope in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent leadership & positive mindset
  • At least 1 years of relevant working experience working in similar roles in the F&B industry
  • Good interpersonal skills
