About the Role

We are seeking a driven and commercially minded Regional Sales & Business Development Executive to support the growth of our business across key regional markets. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, strengthening relationships with distributors and key accounts, and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth within assigned territories.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Trade Marketing and Operations, to deliver market expansion initiatives, maximise customer engagement, and achieve ambitious sales targets. This position offers significant regional exposure and is well suited to an individual who thrives in a dynamic FMCG environment and enjoys building long-term business partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and execute territory-specific sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
  • Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities across assigned regional markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, business partners, and key accounts.
  • Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and business reviews with customers and stakeholders.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and support contract discussions to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Drive sales performance and consistently achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.

Account Management & Customer Engagement

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers within the assigned territory.
  • Develop long-term partnerships by understanding customer needs and providing effective solutions.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by responding promptly to enquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Conduct regular market visits and customer meetings to strengthen relationships and identify growth opportunities.

Market Development & Trade Marketing

  • Collaborate closely with the Trade Marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns, product launches, and in-market activation initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and potential risks.
  • Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to support strategic business decisions.

Reporting & Performance Analysis

  • Track, analyse, and report sales performance against targets and KPIs.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and support demand planning activities.
  • Evaluate sales initiatives and promotional activities to measure effectiveness and return on investment.
  • Provide regular business updates and actionable recommendations to management.

Other Responsibilities

  • Travel regularly within the assigned region to support business development activities and customer engagement.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, sales pipelines, and account information.
  • Support ad hoc projects and undertake additional responsibilities as required by the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of sales, account management, or business development experience within the FMCG industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Experience working with distributors, retailers, modern trade, general trade, or regional accounts is highly advantageous.
  • Regional market exposure would be beneficial.
