Responsibilities
Reporting to the Chief Engineer and/or Engineering & Sustainability Manager, the incumbent will support the daily operations, maintenance, and project management of Electrical, Security, and Life Safety systems within the facility.
Key responsibilities include coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities, managing technical officers, technicians, and vendors, and ensuring all maintenance works are carried out in accordance with statutory requirements, SLA/KPI standards, and prescribed schedules. The role will oversee systems such as HV/MV/LV switchgears, transformers, lifts, escalators, CCTV, card access, UPS, standby generators, lighting systems, and lightning protection systems.
The incumbent will act as the main point of contact for assigned projects and maintenance programs, liaising with internal stakeholders, clients, contractors, and external agencies to ensure smooth execution of works, timely rectifications, and operational reliability. Responsibilities also include supporting Asset Enhancement Initiatives (AEI), overseeing A&A and R&R works, reviewing technical drawings, preparing quotations for minor and breakdown works, and utilizing CMMS and in-house systems for maintenance tracking and operational reporting.
The role also supports process improvement, energy conservation initiatives, innovation projects, and implementation of new technologies to improve operational efficiency and service delivery. In the absence of the Electrical, Security & Life Engineer, the incumbent will assume coverage responsibilities as required.
Any other duties assigned by the Senior Facilities Manager (SFM), Chief Engineer (CE), and/or Engineering & Sustainability Manager (ESM) will also form part of the role
