Florist Intern

Key Responsibilities

• Assist florists in preparing and arranging fresh flower bouquets and floral designs

• Learn proper flower conditioning, trimming, and care techniques

• Support wrapping, packaging, and presentation of floral products

• Assist with daily flower preparation, inventory checking, and stock organisation

• Help maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area and cold room

• Support order preparation for retail, online, and delivery orders

• Carry out other ad-hoc tasks related to floristry and shop operations

Training & Learning Scope

• Introduction to fresh flowers, foliage, and basic botanical knowledge

• Hands-on training in bouquet making and wrapping techniques

• Understanding flower care, storage, and handling to maintain freshness

• Exposure to fast-paced operations during peak periods (festive seasons)

• Learning teamwork, time management, and workplace discipline

Requirements

• Interest in floristry, flowers, or plants

• Willingness to learn and take instructions

• Able to work in a team environment

• Comfortable with standing for long hours and manual work

• Responsible, punctual, and positive attitude

• No prior experience required (training provided)
