Job Description

Working out how many tiles and how much adhesive you'll need for a particular area
Cutting tiles to a certain size or shape with hand-cutters or bench-mounted tools
Preparing surfaces by levelling off with plaster, sand or cement
Decorating and protecting floors and walls using all kinds of tiles (including ceramic, clay, slate, marble and glass)
Fixing the tiles and applying grout before finishing off
Laying intricate mosaic tiles
Working in clients homes or businesses.
Tap tiles into place carefully using tools to properly adhere tiles to the base, making sure not to break or damage tiles
Follow blueprints precisely and mark and measure surfaces that need to be tiled to determine how to go about jobs
Must be a team player and gets along well with other co-workers.
Being patient and precise
Being thorough, with good attention to detail
Have thinking and reasoning skills
Able to work well under pressure.
Willingness to work in non-climate controlled conditions (heat, cold, outdoors)
Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment
Willingness to do hard work
Willingness to work overtime
Min 2 Years of relevant working experiences
Know how to do plastering, plumbing, electrical, hacking and renovation works
