We are recruiting Locum Occupational Therapist/ Senior Occupational Therapist for various healthcare institution in the intermediate and long-term care (ILTC) sector.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assess the client's Activities of Daily Living (ADL), Instrumental ADL (IADL), leisure abilities, functional status, cognition, perception and psychosocial status.
- Set suitable therapeutic goals and develop and implement suitable intervention plans for the client.
- Conduct trainings to TAs as and when required to ensure competent implementation of your intervention plans and wheelchair transfers etc.
- Provide advice on the use of orthosis, prothesis or assistive / adaptive devices to maintain or improve ADL performances.
- Conduct home assessment and recommendations on home modification (if required).
- Provide caregiver training and patient education.
- Plan and implement community integration activities.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
- Full AHPC Registration
- At least 2 years of experience working in a healthcare setting
- Passionate about Occupational Therapy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in local languages will be an advantage
- Self-motivated to engage in continuous learning and education in the field of Occupational Therapy
