Job Responsibilities
. Oversee daily fleet operations, including vehicle utilization, maintenance scheduling, repair coordination, fuel consumption monitoring, and GPS tracking.
. Coordinate with internal operations teams, external workshops, and service providers to ensure timely maintenance, repairs, and minimal vehicle downtime.
. Manage relationships with key vendors, including maintenance providers, fuel card services, insurance companies, and otherthird-party partners.
. Ensure compliance with government regulations, safety standards, and company SOPs, including vehicle registration, licensing, insurance, inspections, and statutory documentation.
. Maintain accurate fleet records in the system, including vehicle movements, maintenance history, repair documentation, and log cards.
Job Requirements
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Transport Management, Automotive, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in fleet management, transport operations, vehicle maintenance coordination, or a similar role.
- Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance schedules, repair coordination, inspection requirements, insurance, road tax, and other fleet-related documentation.
- Familiar with local regulatory and safety requirements relating to commercial vehicles and fleet operations.
- Experience in coordinating with workshops, vendors, insurance providers, and other external service providers.
- Able to maintain accurate fleet records, maintenance history, vehicle documentation, and related reports.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and comfortable using fleet management or GPS tracking systems.
- Strong coordination, problem-solving, and follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple vehicles and priorities.
- Possess good communication skills and able to work effectively with internal operations teams and external vendors.
