A leading global player in shipping industry is expanding its commercial team and seeking highly qualified candidates for the Fleet Efficiency Analyst position based in Singapore.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collect and consolidate operational performance data across the fleet.
- Support initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and sustainability.
- Analyze vessel performance and prepare detailed reports on operational trends.
- Research and assess new vendors and emerging technologies for vessel upgrades.
- Monitor the use and effectiveness of performance‑enhancing devices.
- Conduct routine condition checks on diesel generators and boilers to ensure reliable operations and early detection of issues.
- Recommend technical solutions or vendors to enhance overall fleet performance.
- Provide support for ad hoc projects and assignments as required.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 2–3 years of experience as a marine engineer on board vessels or in fleet monitoring.
- Solid understanding of marine engineering principles and vessel performance.
- Familiarity with vessel performance metrics and fuel optimisation.
- Strong analytical and reporting abilities.
