We are looking for a talented Flame Artist with a specialisation in Beauty to join our post production team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of high-end beauty and cosmetics advertising, crafting immaculate, skin-perfect visuals for some of the world's most iconic brands. You will combine technical mastery with an elevated aesthetic sensibility to deliver work that meets the exacting standards of global beauty campaigns.
Reporting Lines & Key Stakeholders:
This role reports to the Head of Broadcast and works closely with the broader talent post production team, as well as client-side agency teams and brand stakeholders.
KeyResponsibilities:
- Lead and manage commercial VFX jobs end-to-end, with a particular focus on beauty finishing, skin retouching, and product enhancement at a broadcast level
- Perform high-end beauty work including complexion work, skin texture refinement, hair and eye enhancement, lip and product colour grading, and seamless CGI product integration
- Collaborate closely with other artists, directors, and clients — including direct involvement in client-attended finishing sessions where aesthetic judgment and communication are paramount
- Conform edits and EDLs, work with timelines, and eye-match material and editorial VFX where necessary
- Composite shots and elements with precision, maintaining photographic realism and brand consistency throughout
- Attend shoots when required to advise on capture and ensure post requirements are met on set
- Oversee QC and mastering, applying a thorough knowledge of broadcast and digital delivery specifications across global markets
- Communicate proactively with VFX colleagues, Producers, and cross-functional departments on project status and timelines
- Manage your own workload effectively, providing accurate time estimates and flagging risks early
- Share knowledge and techniques with fellow artists, elevating the team's collective skill level
Requirements:
- Proven experience using Flame on high-end commercials, with a demonstrable portfolio in beauty, cosmetics, or fashion advertising
- Strong understanding of skin tone, texture, and light — and the aesthetic standards expected of premium beauty campaigns
- Experience managing your own projects from brief through to final delivery
- Highly organised, with the ability to juggle and prioritise multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines, while maintaining calm and precision
- Experience attending shoots and liaising directly with clients and directors face to face
- Ability to take direction, collaborate within a team, and thrive under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — comfortable presenting work and articulating creative decisions to both clients and internal stakeholders
- Self-motivated, with a continuous learning mindset and genuine passion for the craft
- Nuke — for additional compositing flexibility on complex beauty shots
- Photoshop / After Effects — for supplementary retouching and motion work
- Colour science knowledge and understanding of LUT workflows relevant to beauty and skin rendering
- Familiarity with CGI product integration and working alongside 3D artists
- Understanding of editing software
- Experience working across global beauty or personal care campaigns (e.g. skincare, haircare, cosmetics, fragrance)
