Role Overview
We are looking for In-House Legal Counsel Support to assist the business on a fixed-term basis. The role will focus on medical litigation case(es) monitoring and assessment, review and amendment of general commercial contracts, and support on regulatory and compliance matters within the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the assessment and monitoring of litigation and dispute matters, including liaising with external counsel and tracking case developments
- Prepare internal case summaries, risk assessments, and status updates for management
- Review, draft, and amend general commercial contracts (e.g. service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, vendor and customer contracts, tender documents)
- Support healthcare regulatory and compliance matters, including internal compliance reviews and regulatory tracking and updates
- Assist with legal documentation and records
Requirements
- Law degree from a recognised institution Bar admission preferred but not mandatory
- 5 to 6 years of relevant legal experience, preferably with litigation and/or in-house exposure
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations or work in a regulated industry is an advantage
- Able to work independently, with strong drafting and organisational skills
