Job Description:
- Prepare workstations at the start of processing and clean and reinstate workstations after processing.
- Handle frozen and chilled fish/seafood processing using various types of equipment, including:
. Processing: cutting, trimming, deboning, deskinning, etc.
. Packing: vacuum packing, strapping, etc.
. Storing of products - Clean and maintain tools and equipment.
- Ensure that all food hygiene and safety standards are met and keep up to date with industry standards.
- Perform other food manufacturing duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirement:
- Able to work in a cold environment and handle cold materials, performing repetitive tasks according to schedules.
Training will be provided to applicants with little to no experience in operating processing types of equipment. - Required to perform tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged standing.
- Responsible, punctual, good working attitude, good team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- WSQ certification in basic food hygiene, and familiarity with fish handling and processing is an advantage.
- Willingness to work overtime, including weekends and public holidays, as required by the nature of the job.
