Fire Alarm Engineer

Job Description

• To install, operate and maintain the fire alarm systems at sites
• Inspect and repair heat detectors and sprinkler heads
• To do regular testing and inspection on the fire alarm systems
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to keep fire alarm systems in optimal condition
• Troubleshooting electrical issues and replacing faulty components
• Maintain detailed records of all inspections, tests, maintenance activities, and repairs performed on fire alarm systems.
• To review electrical layout blueprints, design plans and specifications for accurate installation
• To comply with the electrical and fire safety codes
• To communicate with clients to ensure that all fire alarm systems are installed and working properly

Job Requirement

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering / Construction or equivalent
• M & E Experience preferred
• At least 2 years of working experience
• Experience in the Construction industry
• Experience in Electrical Works, Fire Alarm System Installation and Maintenance
• Knowledge of fire alarm system components, such as control panels, detectors, notification devices, and initiating devices
• Physically fit
• Excellent Communication, Leadership, Interpersonal and Problem-solving
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, work under pressure and manage deadlines
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and collaborative teams
• To communicate complex technical ideas and non-technical audiences
