The Role

Financial Risk Management Intern, you'll support the team at the intersection of business, data, and strategy. You'll help monitor risks, analyse data trends, and contribute to building risk controls that protect the company while enabling sustainable growth. This role is ideal for students who are curious about financial risk, digital assets, and data-driven decision-making.

You will work closely with product, technology, and business stakeholders in a fast-moving environment with guidance and mentorship from the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing and maintaining risk control and early-warning mechanisms
  • Help monitor daily business risk indicators and prepare regular risk reports
  • Support risk reviews and assessments across business units
  • Learn and quickly understand new business models and operational workflows to help identify risk points
  • Assist in developing risk control frameworks, including metrics, classifications, and thresholds
  • Support third-party risk assessments and due-diligence activities
  • Work with product and engineering teams to improve risk-related tools and systems
  • Help track risk mitigation actions and follow up to ensure closure
  • Contribute to internal documentation and knowledge-sharing materials
  • Support the team in monitoring real-time risk alerts, especially during high-volatility periods, leading to occasionally outside standard office hours.

What We're Looking For

  • Must be a 2026 campus graduate (penultimate-year student preferred)
  • Able to commit at least 3 working days per week during the internship
  • Strong analytical mindset with good problem-solving and communication skills
  • Proactive, curious, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment
  • High attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Proficient in Excel; familiarity with Python or data tools is a plus
  • Interest in financial markets, fintech, or Web3 / digital assets
  • Students pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business, Engineering, or related fields

FRM or related certifications are a bonus but not required.
