Prepare the consolidated financial statements and related documents, ensuring completeness and accuracy according to group GAAP requirements and adherence to internal controls
Manage and review the monthly consolidation process, including consolidation review and intercompany elimination entries as well as other close support activity, including accounting and census reporting
Work closely with Accounting and FP&A team to provide technical support, coordinate related teams to improve the financial quality assurance.
Strategize for the optimization of consolidation and reporting procedures, including reducing the time to close and report results and finding efficiencies and improvements in the reporting process.
Perform technical accounting and disclosure research to business team to support new business model implementation, supervise GAAP developments, assist with adoption of new accounting disclosure rules.
Serve as a key liaison to internal and external auditors during the quarterly review and annual audit processes
Perform other duties as requested.
Requirements and skills
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related major
7 years accounting experience (Big 4 public accounting firm or second tier will be mandatory and in house experience will be a plus) with at least 3 years leadership experience
CPA or related license required
Broad knowledge of accounting principles and practices (US GAAP+IFRS), external/SEC reporting and internal controls commensurate with an SEC registrant and related knowledge
Ability to evaluate technical accounting concepts
Ability to influence people and processes without direct responsibility
Ability to prioritize, plan, coordinate and meet due dates
