Position: Finance Expert — Wealth Advisor / Planner
Type:Contract
Compensation:$126–$164/hour
Location:Remote
Role Responsibilities
- Develop and assess retirement, tax, estate, insurance, and withdrawal-planning analyses.
- Evaluate fiduciary suitability, risk tolerance, asset allocation, and rebalancing recommendations.
- Review performance reporting, RIA compliance considerations, and client-facing explanations.
- Conduct due diligence on structured products and identify material risks, costs, and conflicts.
- Identify unsupported recommendations, missed constraints, calculation errors, and incomplete disclosures.
- Explain your conclusions through clear, structured written reasoning.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- 5–12 years of relevant experience for the practitioner track, or 10–18 years for the senior reviewer track.
- Professional experience in financial planning, wealth management, retirement or tax planning, RIA operations, supervision, or compliance.
- Strong understanding of fiduciary practice, suitability, household financial tradeoffs, and client communication.
- Excellent written communication and the ability to explain recommendations without obscuring risk or uncertainty.
Preferred
- CFP certification is strongly preferred for planning-focused work; other relevant credentials are welcomed.
- Experience supervising advisors or reviewing complex client work is especially valuable for the senior track.
