Job Title: Finance Manager
Location: Singapore
Salary: SGD 6,000 / month
Job Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and ensure timely closing of books.
- Monitor company's financial performance and prepare management reports with insights and recommendations.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Develop and manage the company's annual budget and rolling forecasts.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide detailed explanations for deviations.
- Support senior management in strategic decision-making by providing financial models and scenario analysis.
Cash Flow & Treasury
- Manage company's cash flow, including daily monitoring of bank balances and working capital.
- Liaise with banks for account management, facilities, and financing needs.
- Optimize fund allocation and ensure liquidity for operations.
Compliance & Audit
- Ensure full compliance with Singapore tax regulations, GST filing, corporate income tax submission, and other statutory obligations.
- Act as the main point of contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
- Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Operations & Systems
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, expense claims, and vendor payments.
- Ensure accurate reconciliation of bank accounts and intercompany transactions.
- Review, recommend, and implement improvements to financial processes and systems for greater efficiency.
Team Management & Leadership
- Supervise and guide junior finance/accounting staff (if applicable).
- Provide training and mentoring to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline (CPA/ACCA qualification preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in finance or accounting, preferably in Singapore.
- Strong technical knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and regulatory compliance.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, SAP, or equivalent).
- Solid understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and cash flow management.
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English (written and verbal).
