Financial Executive (Budget & Control)

In This Role, You Will

  • Responsible for accurate and timely processing of budget transactions such as budget transfers, top-ups, and adjustments etc
  • Assist in responding to budget-related queries and provide support to internal stakeholders
  • Maintain and update master data in SAP, including fund centers and commitment items
  • Support the creation and management of internal orders for cost tracking
  • Assist in the annual business planning cycle including form preparation, scheduling review sessions, tracking submissions and reviewing of inputs for accuracy
  • Update and distribute monthly budget utilization reports and dashboards
  • Manage user access rights for financial dashboards and reporting tools, ensuring data security and appropriate access levels
  • Support monthly and year-end financial closing activities, including internal cost postings and revenue adjustments, ensuring accurate financial records
  • Track and report on grant utilisation, ensuring compliance and provide accurate financial reporting
  • Perform ad-hoc financial and administrative tasks as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Degree/ Diploma in Accountancy/ Finance/ Business Administration or any related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI is an advantage
  • Familiar with financial systems such as SAP is an advantage
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Basic understanding of budgeting and financial principles
  • Meticulous and strong organisational skills
