Financial Director

Position Summary

We are seeking a seasoned finance expert with a robust background in the securities industry to serve as our Head of Finance. In this pivotal role, you will assume full responsibility for the company's financial strategic planning, capital operations, and compliance management. As a core member of the management team, you will conduct in-depth monthly reviews and analyses of the company's accounts, providing precise financial data support to drive business decisions and ensuring the financial health and steady operation of the company in overseas markets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Analysis & Business Review:

Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Perform deep-dive reviews into account details, monitor key financial metrics, identify operational risks and opportunities, and regularly deliver high-quality financial analysis reports and strategic recommendations to senior management.

2. Financial Strategy & Compliance Management:

Formulate and execute a financial management framework in alignment with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local laws and regulations. Address the specific regulatory mandates of the securities industry to ensure high compliance in financial operations and effectively manage all internal/external audits and regulatory inspections.

3. Treasury Management & Capital Operations:

Oversee cash flow management, budget control, and cost optimization. Leverage industry insights to optimize capital structure, enhancing capital efficiency and asset returns.

4. Team Building & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Build, lead, and mentor the finance team to elevate overall professional capabilities. Work closely with business, operations, and other departments to integrate financial thinking into business workflows and empower sustainable business growth.

Requirements

1. Education & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Financial Management, or related disciplines. Holding professional designations such as CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent prestigious international financial/accounting qualifications is highly preferred.

2. Industry Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial management, including at least 3 years in a finance leadership role within the securities, investment banking, or related financial sectors. Possess a profound understanding of the business models and financial characteristics inherent to the securities industry.

3. Technical Skills: Proficient in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as well as Singapore/Hong Kong local tax and financial regulations. Demonstrate exceptional financial modeling, data analysis, and account diagnostics capabilities, with a proven track record of independently leading deep monthly account analyses.

4. Language Proficiency: Excellent bilingual communication skills in English and Mandarin (both written and spoken), capable of thriving in a full-English working environment and a cross-cultural team setup.

5. Competencies: Possess sharp business acumen, strategic thinking, and strong resilience under pressure. Uphold rigorous professional integrity with outstanding cross-departmental communication and team leadership skills.
