Financial Controller

About the Role:

Due to business expansion, we are looking for a Finance Controller to join our Singapore new office and support Southeast Asian markets. This is a newly created position and will report to the Head of Finance and Controlling in the region.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation of budget and forecast
• Monitor and explain variances between cost plan and actuals
• Prepare the management reporting package (P&L, Sales Reports and Retail KPIs)
• Calculate monthly sales commission
• Support the monthly sales target setting process
• Act as a business partner for retail, marketing and merchandising teams
• Support capital investment decision by providing deep dive analysis such as DCF, NPV, PBP
• Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis covering sales, margins and OPEX
• Maintain expense management system to ensure procure-to-pay process adheres to company policies and stays within budget
• Review monthly end closing activities to ensure completeness and accuracy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Finance or Accounting
• At least 5 years of FP&A experience, preferably with some prior exposure to luxury goods, fashion, beauty or FMCG
• Prior experience in building business intelligence dashboards and SAP
• Strong business partnering and commercial acumen
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Passionate in fashion and luxury goods
• Excellent command of English
• Proficient in Excel functions, modeling, and data management
